My name is Rich. I'm writer/director/producer of a film that will begin shooting in bkk in mid-July. The film is called "The Shadow Sea" and is an old school, black and white noir thriller that could be described as being in the spirit of noir classics like "The Third Man" but with a definitely modern sensibility. Our leading man has a lot of Hollywood experience in both feature films and tv while the remainder of the cast/crew will be filled out using a mixture of expats and locals. Everyone has agreed to forego salaries so that we can put our limited resources into making the film as good as it can possibly be. The goal is to submit it to film festivals in 2014 in order to attract studio/distributor attention.

All that said we are finishing up location scouting at this time and find ourselves still in need of two things:

1) a local house that's in good shape and that has a yard with a gate and driveway and a wall around the property. We would need this location for 2 nights of shooting in late july early august (exact dates to be determined).

2) a modern office in bkk, again for 2 nights of shooting.

The scenes to be shot in these locations are primarily dialogue heavy scenes and there will not be any high impact activity of any kind on your property.

What you would get in return for allowing us to shoot in your house/office would be your choice of either a big "thank you" in the final credits or a listing as "Production Assistant". We can also do a 'product placement' if you have a (legal) product to publicize (though keep in mind the film will be black and white). You will also receive a digital version of the finished film and an invitation to the film's eventual premiere, wherever and whenever that occurs (travel not included).

If you have a house or office that fits the bill and are interested in participating please PM me and we can arrange to talk. Thanks.

I hear what you're saying eezergood. It's a good point. Fortunately I was able to secure a house over the weekend, so all that's left now is the office.
