webfact Posted June 3, 2013 Share Posted June 3, 2013 Foreign Affairs Minister visits Hungary, GermanyBANGKOK, 3 June 2013 (NNT) - Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Affairs Minister Surapong Tovijakchaikul is scheduled to officially visit Hungary from 3-4 June 2013. Mr Surapong will attend a meeting with his Hungarian counterpart on economic and academic cooperation between Thailand and Hungary.Invited by Hungarian Foreign Affairs Minister Janos Martonyi, Mr Surapong will also exchange his opinions with Mr Martonyi on the changing environment and the situations in Europe and the Asia-Pacific region. He will later meet with Hungarian Deputy Prime Minister and Public Administration and Justice Minister Tibor Navracsics.On this trip, the Thai minister also leads executives of Thai research institutes to the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, a main unit responsible for science and technology in Hungary. The group will also visit the country’s leading research centers in a bid to strengthen Thai-Hungarian cooperation on medical science, agricultural science, alternative energy and atomic energy for peace.After Hungary, Mr Surapong will visit Germany from 4-8 June 2013.
