Not Receiving Gmail Emails

Featured Replies

Hello...

Over the past few months I sometimes will sporadically not receive emails via my Gmail account. I've checked everywhere and I simply do not receive them. Has anyone else had this problem in Thailand? It's quite bizarre...

Have you tried logging out, deleting your cache and then logging in again ?

I regularly test my emails by sending from one account to another. wink.png

Did you ever mess with the filters? Even if you haven't, head into the filter menu and make sure you don't have any. Some filters will block entire domains like "@hotmail.com" for example.

Do you access GMail from any Android devices?

I assume you've looked in the Spam folder?

Are there any issues with the originating account? That is, the account you use to send test messages?

Maybe you're being Prism'ed? sad.png

It happens.I have at least 3 email accounts.I test them every now and then.Once in awhile I won't get one.I figure it's the nature of the beast.Nothing is perfect

It would be useful to know through what email provider the missing messages were sent. I remember reading about problems with Yahoo, for example.

Sent from my Nexus 7 using Thaivisa Connect Thailand mobile app

The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place

It is funny people are saying that. I have had texts I assuredly know people have sent go AWOL. But never, ever, one time have I had an email not come in that wasn't user error. But, perhaps I am wrong about that.

The Gmail trash & spam boxes are not obvious (cf. hotmail). In Chrome, you gotta look under the 'Compose' button (L hand of screen).

Sorry is this is like suggesting how to suck eggs, but I regularly get asked why I didn't send s/thing, from my hotmail to a gmail. AA
