The Last Word

Featured Replies

My body clock is well out of whack. Sleeping in too late during the day and going to bed too late in the wee small hours. It never happens to me when I'm in Phuket. Maybe my maker mucked up and installed a Thai body clock?

I would like to see the look on Thad's face if she said to him something like, 'Can I put the bite on you for some money?'

An open wallet TLW.

How can there be a Guest reading this thread?

Intruder

That was asked once before. My recollection of the answer was along the lines of, "There can't". (I may be wrong, but I'm not going to trawl through the archives to find it.) I never look at that guests-reading part - I'll keep an eye on it in future.

Was it a guest, or summun calling 'emselves "Guest".

Perhaps someone who thought they were in general and just guest wrong ?

And the last word tonight is ahhh ...... and I didn't lose any bodily parts :o

Need sleep now.

Wakey wakey.......you little devil you

Some of these ads that appear between the first and second posts read members' ISPs to place location-reliant advertising. At the moment, there's an ad for JB Hi-Fi here in Melbourne, advertising large screen tellies for 10% off. I wonder what sort of ads I'd get if I used a proxy server - say, from Iran...

No, I wouldn't buy a Persian flying rug from Persia - I'd be too concerned about them failing to honour the international warranty. I suppose it would be safe enough to buy a used one, because you know that it works:

'This magnificent Persian rug is in A1 condition and would suit the most fastidious buyer. Only flown by a little old imam on Sundays. Please, no thread pullers.'

...and, if you buy today, we'll throw in a free set of doilies.
