Measure up you land deed (Chanote) Please help

Hi I have been waiting for he land office to come and measure up my land in Lak Kret buriram and they never send me a date when to come just some time in April. I have benne living in my farm day and night waiting for them and they never came, Now they want money to come measure up my land because I was not there. There is a Private company who also wants to measure up my land for about 15.000 baht my land is 7½ rai is that a fair deal or crazy I dontk know ?? please help me

I also had to get a survey done on my property. In Chiang rai and it cost me 7000 baht and they put in the markers and from there we installed a fence.

Yes it does take them time to do and the tea money was asked for to have it done in a week.

Not a bad price considering I had a lot in Canada surveyed and it cost me about 40 thousand baht at that time .

It's the way things are done here

Sounds about right to me.

My land office wanted twice that for an early appointment for a much smaller plot.

We settled on 15K and they came the same week.

We have had this done twice. Each time the measurement could be done in 3 month. Then my brother in law asked to talk alone with the official. The result was, that if we paid for whisky to the boys, it could be done in two days. Price: 1.000 baht.
