But to answer your question, yes far too many....the Thai goverment should make it harder for farangs to live here long term...increase the fees for the visa's, make the qualification for extension of stays harder, increase all the finanical requirements....

When i travel to the country with my Thai friends, I dont see any farangs.

Only in the tourist type places, historical places, and major towns and villages.

I havent seen many businesses not welcome tourists. At least the nice tourists anyways.

The most hostile Thai vs farang behavior I've seen is here on TV

And to be honest, this is the internet, where men can be women, girls can be boys,

and i'm sure where farang can act like Thia's, and Thai's act like farangs.

So i take all the thai hostility here on TV with a HUGE grain of salt.

I think there's too many farang in the States, too.

I agree with the OP, mainly in Phuket.

Need to trim down the masses and get some quality ones in, IMHO.

Maybe you could suggest that to TAT, see what they think.....................

You could turn that OP question around and ask: Does it seem in every village in every province there is at least one Thai female who has become sufficiently internet savvy to bag herself a farang companion from just about anywhere ex-Thailand?

Why would you care how many are here? I just don't get the anti- farang attitude on here, the ones i've come into contact with are fine people.

When ever I venture outside, I make sure I'm incognetio.

I blend in as if I'm not there.

And that's the point - "read" about them daily - "meet" them rarely - don't believe all you read perhaps?

Some places there are many - others not a one - at least in my experience. Reason most of us see farangs every day en-masse is because we choose to live where other farangs live.
