Chiang Rai Raceway

Featured Replies

Went through here last week, here are some pics...definately a motard, KSR, scooter type track...CBR/Ninja 250's may do ok, but i dont see anyone getting over 135kph on a 250...Track is relatively narrow and is sponsored by KTM.

They were moving some dirt close to this track , so they may be making a motocross track there too, not sure though.

To find it, imagine your pulling out of Chiang Rai Saddlebags and go right, turn right at first stoplight and just keep going until you get to 118, cross it and make right into black asphalt road on your right, go about 250 meters and its there. Extremely freaking hot around there, possibly because of higher altitude.

@ 1.3km in length it would make for an awesome go cart track.

Dtrackers, CRF's and the KTM 200 should do well on there...Them KSR's are going to tear it up.

Not sure if its going to be asphalt or if thats just the base layer. There wasnt any work being done on it when i went.

When I get home in the next few weeks, I will ask the owner what his future prospects are for the circuit.
