Recommend a Dentist?

Looking for a good dentist, not too pricey. Preferably near the BTS. Haven't been for a few years, but fillings as I recall were about 1000.B?

I went to Bangkok Smile's Asoke clinic for the first time recently. They had been recommended in various of the threads here. Had a young dentist, but she was fine for a basic cleaning and check, and had a gentle touch... no jabbing or stabbing.

Generally, the more upscale and farang oriented places will charge between 1000 and 1800 for a cleaning and check. A lot of the local Thai clinics around town seem to be in the 500 to 1000 range, but you're never quite sure who's doing the work or what their background is.

Most or all of the places I listed above post bios and credentials for their dentists, as well as price lists for their services.

The cost for fillings depends on the number of "surfaces" required and what kind of filling material is used, as well as the clinic, of course.
