Daffy D Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 A Picasso PickUp +2 Monet... This could be the start of a whole new trend
Ron19 Posted June 28, 2014 Author Posted June 28, 2014 Delivering our miniture temples ready for our new set up out front. ( What is the correct name/title for these ? I thought it might be shrine but that doesn't sound right.)
samuijimmy Posted June 28, 2014 Posted June 28, 2014 Another job for the morning, Ron, feed the spirits! ^ Truck scene or street scene, .... or man trying to dance on the side walk! ??? Buddies Complex Lamai, Samui.
Daffy D Posted June 28, 2014 Posted June 28, 2014 Spirit houses. And they are very important! Yes, and they have to be placed in exactly the right spot and facing the right way. Some friends of ours spent over 50K on setting up a spirit house on a beautiful tiled base but apparently the spirits were not happy, so have now bought about 10k of tall bushes to plant round the spirit house so the spirits can't see out and make bad luck. There are not rich people who spent all this money, just workers in the local factory.
Dancealot Posted June 28, 2014 Posted June 28, 2014 Another spirit house.... It's the same car as I posted bove.....
sunshine51 Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 ^^^ Looks like the old girl still has some decent suspension...outta likes Ron.
Litlos Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 Bit off topic. Hopefully the picture comes up the correct way. Taken of the rear advertising of a bus in Tel Aviv a few weeks ago, for an entry level Nissan pickup from the translation I got. That equates to about 2.2 million Baht, ouch. Maybe not so badly done by in Thailand? Cheers

David48 Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 I'm always amazed when the Utes/Pick-ups roll up to the Farm to collect the harvested fish. I don't know their load capacity, nor what their weight is fully loaded here. In the days when we took the catch to the wholesalers in Bangkok, MissFarmGirl reckons they carried about 3 1/2 tonnes ... So, when the came to the Farm ... I had a closer look. Focus on the Silver vehicle ... which is filled with water and fish. Considered the load ... I wonder what (high) pressure they run in their tyres But, now to the good bits ... check out those mothers ...
shaggy1969 Posted July 3, 2014 Posted July 3, 2014 Nice share there David. Some serious springs on that pick up,good when fully loaded, but I bet it's a bit slippy on the back when without the weight. Mobile bicycle repair shop.
