Messed up roads/ Roads to be avoided

Featured Replies

You know the ones I'm talking about; Roads with surfaces so bad and full of bumps and holes that if you hit one you know that death could instantly become you! Or even worse than that, your bike could get mangled. I highlight a few roads to avoid here from my own experience and invite you all to post your own routes to be avoided if possible.

331: Especially around the Eastern Seaboard Industrial Estate. Shit surface and loads of trucks and traffic lights

11: I had the misfortune to ride this just last week (photo attached of the route). I think the surface and some of the pot holes are the worst I've ever seen.

3200 & 3001: Another road with a surface especially designed to maim and tame! Holes in it like you wouldn't believe.

36: Section are currently being re-surfaced but the stretch heading from bira race track towards the BKK and Banglamung intersection is horrendous at best!

The section of road from Surat Thani to the turn off for Cha am is diabolical, big holes and a Surface that would not look out of place in a farm yard!!

The never-ending nightmare that is the Bang Na-Trat. You know it's bad when the frontage road is in better condition than the (not the elevated) highway.
