According to reports Sky have now made channel choosing freely available. As it pulls the channels off the internet would it work in Thailand?

For Thailand it will certainly need to access via a VPN (to pretend it's in the UK) and said VPN will have to reside in your router to direct the network traffic correctly.

That is the problem,the VPN slowing it all down.

I have uktv installed on demo mode now for well over 6 months ,its free,hardly ever buffers Im on the 3BB 580 a month deal picks up BB1 Sky news etc

It says it needs 3Mb. And Sky's channels are HD, so I'd say your bandwidth would get chewed fairly quickly even if it didn't buffer.
