Local residents were able to recognize Mr Surapol in the pictures and directed police to his rented room. When confronted by officers, Mr Surapol confessed.“After I stole the bag, I checked inside. Popular Post Payboy Posted August 1, 2013 Popular Post Posted August 1, 2013 Lucky that they got him quickly. Would've been difficult to identify him after a couple of days with the whitening lotion. 14
Popular Post aTomsLife Posted August 1, 2013 Popular Post Posted August 1, 2013 Not sure who the criminal is. Wish someone was pointing at him. 8
BrianCR Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 At least he just dumped it after finding out it contained cosmetics most, people would have still been looking for a lady boy to buy it!

TackyToo Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 Is this a result of the Thai education system? 40-years-old and stupid as a mule... 1
Briggsy Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 Is this a result of the Thai education system? 40-years-old and stupid as a mule... I think that is why he is a security guard.
Suradit69 Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 Is this a result of the Thai education system? 40-years-old and stupid as a mule... So if he had the benefit of western education he would know ahead of time which bag to snatch and which had nothing of value in it? Interesting take on the purpose of education. Quite a devastating put down there. 2
udonthani1 Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 Had he mugged/beaten a foreigner, then he'd be a hero in jail. I seriously doubt a single Thai would condemn a Thai for mugging/beating a foreigner. Xenophobic brainwashing starts young here...
JJttttt1 Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 I know it's bad to steal from motorbike baskets, but anyway I feel sorry about him. Hope he will get a mild penalty. 2
belg Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 starting small he will quickly learn what and where to steal ... farangs easy target and they gone within a few days/weeks 50% to the bib and everybody happy
jpduggan Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 She called the cops and they checked around the cctv ....for some cheap cosmetics. Phuket cops must have nothing better to do.
