TAT to host PATA Annual Conference 2006

The Tourism Authority of Thailand will host the PATA Annual Conference 2006. The conference will portray the capabilities of tourism leaders in Asia Pacific and the readiness of Thailand in welcoming the meeting members.

Thailand will have an opportunity to host an international-level conference once again, and this time, it is the PATA Annual Conference 2006, or the annual conference of the Pacific Asia Travel Association. This conference will be held for the 55th time, and it will take place from April 23rd to 27th, 2006 in Pattaya City, Chonburi Province. Pattaya is ready in terms of its meeting and accommodation facilities. The international conference will take place at the Pattaya Exhibition and Convention Hall.

The important agendas of this meeting will be under the theme “Changing Lifestyles – New Opportunities”. The discussion topics will be specially relating to tourism.

The TAT has received close cooperation from various agencies in preparation for this event. Recreational and tourism activities will also be offered during the meeting period, as they will help create a positive image of Thailand to foreign guests.
