I would like to take the bus from Phuket to Krabi, but since I’ll be starting out at the Phuket Airport, it would be nice not to have to go into town to catch it at the bus terminal just so I can take the bus all the way back.

Does anyone know where I can catch the bus to Krabi close to the Phuket Airport?

I suppose you just go out to the main road and the buses all pass there. Take one going to Trang/Had Yai/Satun and get off in Krabi. Forget how far the main road is from the airport, you may need to take a meter taxi from outside the front gates.
