Original version had 2 young Thai guys talking whilst video the cyclist. But I couldn't upload that video only the edited YouTube version.

Think the cyclist was just following the road markings that you see at 0:04!!

...I'm from Montreal where we have extensive bicycle routes going around and across the island.

I have suggested that every major city should have an evacuation route established in case of emergency...for bicycles (and motorcycles)

(I remember sitting on the expressway last flood...it took 5 hours to go 20-30 kilometers...)

....in an extreme situation people will just eventually die trying to get away....

...we have been relatively lucky thus far...

After reading Thai Visa for many years and receiving excellent information about these situations, I have come to a conclusion about this video....

The cyclist had an argument with his loved one and said that he would throw himself off the top of the condo for yer. She said "on yer bike" your scared of heights!

Case solved.

After living here for yonks, I can't see anything wrong. Just the other week on a dual carriageway at night I saw heading towards me what I thought was another cars headlights. It was a good thing that I was a bit slow in swerving to the roadside as the headlights split and a motorcycle passed either side of me. Just another thread in the rich tapestry of Thai life.
