Hi all, When i move to Thailand hopefully in 2007, I would like to join a local soccer club somewhere in bangkok.

I would like to know is there any decent leagues? also do they have proper soccer fields??

I seen a few fields in bangkok and they had no grass and the fields were alittle smaller then standard?

Is there any Farang leagues as i cant speak Thai and I would like to play with people who can speak english so I know if there calling for the ball etc.

Any suggestions?

Yes mate. There is at least 2 leagues that you would be interested in. One is the Old Casual league. Now called the MBMG League. There is also the Chang league. Depends on your fitness/abilties what would be better. If you go to somtam.com that is the league website. You can also post on their forum. The last forum got hacked. So this one has just been back on line less than a week. As you know there is TV team. I have played in this league for the last 2 years. And i gotta say its very good.
