Is this still running? I've read about it but the articles all seem to be from 2/3 years ago. Anybody heard of it, been there? Experiences?

There is one at Rumchok Market on the Mae Jo rd (1001) on the weekends. Lots of stuff but I never felt comfortable buying there, I have done well purchasing bikes from Falangs moving away

Are you aloud to start the bikes there? I've heard of places like this where your not even allowed to touch the bikes before you buy.

There must be 1000s of motor bikes for sale there, its on every Saturday and Sunday,

You must be able to start them as they wake me up in the mornings revving the motors,

the have price tickets on them, but always try for a better price,it a buyers market,as lots

to choose from, they have some sort of system where the guy in charge holds your money

and does not hand it over to seller until you get your reg book etc.

regards worgeordie.

PS in next to Raumchok Plaza, look for McDonalds, its the next left ,at the rear of the market.

Yes you can try them and some of the sellers will give you a one week money back satisfaction guarantee.

Be careful buying from a farang. There are many farang scammers in Thailand and many of them gravitate towards motorcycle related scams.
