Steel Wool

Featured Replies

Does anyone know where I can buy medium or course steel wool here in Chiang Mai?

Thank You

I don't think it exists here. I ended up ordering some off ebay.

Sorry. Thought I might have been able to help. Wife used it when we lived overseas but I had to jog her memory, only to find that she has never seen anything like it here. She suggested you get a picture of it off the internet and take it along to HomePro etc.,

If you mean the balls of steel wool, bought a pack of 2 yesterday in a Village 20 baht shop, need some other things that I have never seen in any other shop and noticed and bought the steel wool...

Do you have a 20 Baht shop up there ? maybe they have ?

You probably mean the large, course type to clean pots made by 3M or Chinese brands. The finer abrasion type for wood, metal, etc. are difficult to find. Found some once but as has been said, it was poor quality and turned into a rusty powder within a month of buying it.

Anyone tried the 3M shop? Just a thought...
