I found one, but i think its a little to expencive for CM. Im looking for half or year courses so faculty of nursing maybe dont fit. Course that I found located in old city and cost 38 000 batt for all, including education visa. Studing is on english and they say I ll have international diplom. That's bother me cuz as i know lowest level diploma i can get only by learning 2-3 years, not half-year. What you think of that? Did u had experience like that?

Better to learn back in your home Country i would think .In England for example my sister learned worked and trained at the same time at no cost i believe .( It took about 2 or 3 years though .)

Sounds like a "Nurse aide" course. I know someone who took such a course some years ago. Not sure what she paid, but it too was a half year course, though in Thai of course.

-My wife's daughter took a two year course to become a nurse's aid.
= In Thai?
There ra 2 types of nurse diploma. One of them (as far as i know) is 2-3 years learning, other - 4. But some people get simple medicine knowledge from 3-6 month courses. Problem is that I dont know what kind of job I get after those. Massage not interesting for me. And I'd like to stay in Thai for couple years.
AwK, did ur friend get nurse job with this half-year education?
It looks like if I wanna good nursing education I need to study 4 years. But I don't know is this job good for me. I had only 2 days first aid courses and they were just theoretical.

Best option for me is to find what kind of job do I get from short nurse education and decide worth it is or not. If I'll like to learn more I allways can study on univercity faculty for 4 years.

I think the kind of job you get is, as the description indicates, being an aid to the proper nurse. Assisting her with tasks she finds beneath her or "too icky". You will not get any nurse job, as those require a nurse degree.

I think my friend had some short part-time jobs, helping take care of some elderly people, or similar, before moving from Thailand. I got the impression she was, for some reason, somewhat surprised to find herself at the very bottom of the totem pole, taking orders from people who took orders from doctors.

I'm not sure if I understand you correctly, but is the case that you are not fluent in Thai and are considering getting a Thai nurse aide degree in English, so that you can afterwards get a nurse aide job in Thailand, competing for

the job with thousands of native Thai people who are fluent in Thai and would pose no work permit problems for the employer? If that is indeed the case, I can only wonder,

If on the other hand your plan is to attend a course where most of your classmates will be young girls who you hope will be very curious about your farangness, and will be more than average interested in getting to know you in both this way and that way, it might be a viable plan. Worst case, you will get some basic medial knowledge.

Yes in Thai.

It could be a course in how to do medical secretary work.
