Moving to Thailand with Heart condition

Thank You Guys, your responses have not only informed and educated me, but have also raised my spirits.

I have read every respond and have saved all pertinent information for when I need it when I move to Thailand.

Tomorrow I am going to the hospital for my pre-op visit and I am scheduled to have the valve replacement operation, Friday morning.

We decided to go go with the Bio-prosthetic valve because in my line of work-there is a high chance for injury , I am always cutting my self one way or an other, and a mechanical valve, even though last longer, is not a viable option because with a mechanical valve I would need to be on blood thinner medication for life.

The way I understand it, I will be in the hospital for at least a week recuperating, and out of work for two to three months. I will update you when I am capable of doing so , after the operation
