Tywais ... may I ask a technical question?

This photo below ...

attachicon.gifDSCF7993.JPG

The actual image is 1.72 meg and 2304 x 1728 pixels

But the Thai Visa uploader compresses it to a 1.38 kilobyte image

I had completely forgot that since the last calendar the new version of TV software auto-resizes the uploaded attachment. The image size clipping for that image is 1200x900. Hit the Save button, save the file and you will see the real size as it is on Thaivisa (138kB though not 1.38kB). wink.png Bit of a bummer, as it means all attached images are limited to 4 inches at 300dpi but not a killer as 200dpi is 6 inches and for photo glossy prints it will not be that big of a difference due to the blending/bleeding that occurs when printing.

I've used images before in a calendar around that size and they were successful. Still unfortunate about that upgrade but understandable on a space and bandwidth level.
