Hi guys , just a heads up for you all.

Its located about half way down the bypass road heading south from the Toyota Pearl Garage.

Lets see how soon we can locate them all :)

What is the speed limit on that section of road

People seem to drive there anything from 75 to 130 KPH

The limit is as fast as your vehicle allows!!

Well thats what most folk do

I drove to the airport this morning and passed that area around 6:15 and all cars were doing about 100-110, so we'll see if it's working yet as from what I recall reading, they were being installed but weren't operational yet.

Most windscreens here are so dark you can't see the driver anyway.

I already claimed the first camera spotted about 5 days ago :) On the main road in Thalang, northbound, just by the main Muang Mai school

Thought there was some regulation passed a few years ago to limit the 'darkness' of the windscreen film.

Yes its similar to the regulation about pirated DVD's & the wearing of motorcycle helmets.........

Mud on plate?.....

CHECK

Hairspray is the standard anti camera solution. I think also you can get plastic covers for the plates that reflect the flash. I will have to check ebay and invest in some

Stick a plastic bag over the front plate. Just say it got stuck whilst driving around.

So much rubbish around its plausible.

.

Got hit for 200 the other day. My cowcatcher bars were obscuring Udon Thani on the number plate so obscuring the plate may not wash. P.

Got a speeding ticket in Korat a year ago, fine arrived in the post to the cars reg. address here in Phuket. with photo of the car and speed 120 in a 70 zone and fine 500baht. Very professional but the driver not visable.

I took it to Thalang police station to try to pay it. Silly me.. brilliant they had never seen anything like it, lots of shouting, laughing etc then cannot pay go Korat !!!!

After having it read by a Thai. paid it by post... and got a rec. in the post 2 weeks later.

Where is this fine list from rolleyes.gif
