Does anyone known where the DVD rental shop moved to, that was at the corner Suthep road / Wing 41 road?

I just came back from holidays and the shop is all locked up. Thanks.

It was mentioned on this forum where they moved to. I believe it is a bit closer to the moat, near the large temple on the south side of Suthep Road.

Try the search function if no one else can give you more specifics.

Maybe it moved back to 1998.

I visited it once to return some disks. I believe I can recall the directions. If you exit the road it used to be on, take a right on Suthep. Go to the next traffic light after the one at the Nimmanheiman - Suthep intersection. Take a right there and it will somewhere down that road on your left. If, it has, in fact, survived.

Another place totally new to me seems to have opened last month while I was out of the country.

This is the new Rimpings down Canal Rd in a nice new shopping centre. I had no idea one was planned, and it's nicely set out.

Saves crossing the city or heading up to Maejo.

If you are talking about the Rimping next to Mae Hia market its a very small store .More interesting is the new Rimping at Kad Farang, its going to be a biggie.

Very small. Hmm. Seemed a reasonable size to me, had something of everything in it.

Where exactly is Kad Farang? Hopefully a place where the labels in the store are a decent size, and the aisle signs are somewhat close to what they actually contain.

Either that or the staff are told to put the packets, bottles etc with the English side out, and not always facing the rear of the shelf.

from suan dok gate go up suthep road and turn left

at the traffic lights 50 yards past the gas station

go past the entrance to sri pat 2 hospital and its

100 yards on the left
