I have had a sore shoulder for some time, muscle relaxants help, as does a bottle of red.

But never goes away.

A friend suggested I try acupuncture, any opinions please.

It rteally depends on what is causing the pain. If it is due to structural nerve compression, acupuncture may nto help.

But no harm in trying.

Have you tried (gentle) massage? Exercises?

Thanks Sheryl, the gentle massage worked, now if it would just stay this way. Of course having just turned 60 ish might have something to do with it, I just won't acknowledge the fact.

Also if you work on the computer a lot, or drive a lot -- take regular breaks during which you exercise your shoulder to relieve muscle spasm
