The reincarnated children: New book tells the extraordinary story

Featured Replies

  • Dr Jim Tucker has spent the past ten-years documenting children who claim to have lived past-lives
  • Has encountered many examples of American children who claim to have been anything from a World War II fighter pilot to legendary golfer Bobby Jones
  • Through his research Dr Tucker has come to believe that the children are speaking the truth and that they have indeed been reincarnated
  • Bases the science for his theories in advanced quantum physics, arguing that human consciousness can move in time and space

How could anyone possibly take seriously a three-year-old golfing prodigy's claim to be legendary 13-time major winner Bobby Jones? Or another boy from Louisiana who recalls being a World War II pilot shot down over the Pacific?

A world renowned professor for a start. Dr Jim Tucker's remarkable experiences with these children, many who can recall intimate details of their past lives in pin-sharp detail - and with no prompting - has led him to the conclusion that reincarnation is real.

There was a Discovery programme on a few years back, One little lad claimed to be his reborn Grandad. He was a cop in New York, and died of a bullet to the heart. The lad was born with a serious heart defect.

Why is it that people who claim to be reincarnations always say they were somebody important (or significant to them) in their past life? Pharaohs, not fellahin; senators, not slaves.... well, you get the message.

Perhaps the reincarnations of nobodies would rather keep quiet, whereas I for example would rather not broadcast that my previous self was none other than Vlad the impaler.

i was the Queen of Shebah.

Fantastic parts for the oboes. Well played, but whch chamber group is this?

It was certainly a hit with our Silkie chickens, which stopped what they were doing and stood still listening to the interplay between the string and wind sections, I may try them on Mozart next week.

I have no idea, sorry.

Thanks. In days of yore, I played French Horn in a couple of symphonies.

Memories well remembered.
