Aeon Atm Market Village Maximum Withdrawl

I've been going to the Aeon ATM at Market Village recently to withdraw cash and avoid the 150 Baht charge. It gave me the maximum as stated on the screen the first time, 20,000. But the last few occasions it only allows me 10,000 per day. I wasn't going to attempt the 10k until the lady working there suggested it. I don't know if it's Aeon or my home bank that are limiting me?

I tried the foreign exchange booth on the ground floor to withdraw 35K with a pre loaded credit card and passport, because there is no ATM attached as far as I can see. But after all the photocopying and signing was over, she told me the machine didn't work?

Does anyone know what banks if any, still take credit cards and passports to withdraw cash. I used this method until last November and it was dead handy and no 150 Baht charge.
