Renewing 1 Year Drivers License to 5 Year on Tourist Visa?

Hey CM People:

Tried to search but couldn't find any reports on whether or not a tourist visa is good enough for the renewal.

I got my 1 year in January and it was pretty straight forward. Got reisdency letter, passport copies w/ visa, medical certificate etc...

Has anyone managed to accomplish the rewal to a 5 year with a tourist visa in Chiang Mai?

Someone else asked the same question the answer is that you will not get a five year one just another year one, check the posts and do a search
