There has been heavy rain for quite some time now south of town. I have plans to go into the city later this morning and was wondering what the roads are like. Is it still raining very hard over there?

It is just starting to rain now at Thapae Gate. It is only sprinkling, but looks like more is coming.

Some small flooding on Canal road from Mae Hia to town. That was at around 9:15AM, may have drained off by now.

Still being drenched here in San Pak Whan. The kitchen is flooded and the gutters look like collapsing. Won't have to water the garden for about a week. Is this unseasonal? Perhaps the rainy season is finishing later...

I'm overlooking the entire city from the 15th floor. I can see a solid wall of rain storm to the east, just at the edge of the Imperial Mae Ping hotel, extending north past the Central Festival Mall. I can't see very far to the south as the storm is blocking the view. The clouds are really moving along at a good clip though, so I have hopes that the rain will clear the city within the next hour.

Absolutely no rain out at Mae Rim, but I did see the clouds over the city from Macro about an hour ago.... must be quite cool with all that rain in the city. Might pop in for a beer or two later today, should be quite nice as long as the humidity doesnt jump too much.
