Solpadeine OTC

Featured Replies

Codeine (one of the components in Solpadeine) is classified as an opiate and as such requires a doctor's prescription. Not an OTC medicine. Same with Tylenol with Codeine.

MIMS classifies it as N3 Category 3 narcotic drug.

Solpadeine brand is not registered in Thailand. There are several brands of the same thing here, though. All of them controlled substances. Not for OC sale. You'll need to see a doctor and get it from a hospital pharmacy.

Should also warn that Thai doctors are often hesitant to prescribe narcotics.
