You can't keep me away :)

After teaching in Yangon 2012/2013, I did a short-term Headmaster job in Luang Prabang, Laos, before returning to my 'home' in Phuket to build some more hotel rooms for my family businesses.

I started to build a new B&B for myself, but the money to complete this project is running out! So it's back to Yangon for a new teaching job at one of trhe international schools and the chance to save some money.

I'll be back in Yangon from early January, so look forward to meeting other TV members.

There's a lot less alcohol this time around, by all accounts!

That is a very worrying statement!:) Do you mean that I will be unable to find my beloved Myanmar Beer??

Oh no plenty of the local stuff - they're no doubt doing extremely well. It's the foreigner stuff that's been pulled from shelves. Myanmar govt. decided to start enforcing its laws... a warning to foreigners reliant on lax/arbitrary enforcement or blind eye turnings... it can change at any moment.
