December 13, 201312 yr Since leaving Myanmar in April, I haven't kept up with news about the status of the mobile phone network(s) and ability to receive calls from overseas, send/receive international text messages etc. Has anything changed? If possible, I do need to be able to receive international calls, send/receive international SMS etc. If not, It's back to managing my Phuket hotels via the dodgy internet and voip phone calls... Simon
December 27, 201312 yr My Thai SIM has started to work in Yangon but not in Nay Pyi Daw. My UK sim still does not work at all - I understand it is SIMs from ASEAN countries that now work in Myanmar. My Thai SIM will make and receive international calls and recently I have received some international texts on it but I still can not send international texts on it
