where to buy shampoo for african-canadian hair?

Featured Replies

where to buy shampoo for african-canadian men's hair in Bangkok?

Is this shampoo something really exotic or special ?

I have been labouring under the thought that shampoo was ......................just shampoo !smile.png

I know of shampoo by hair type, ie greasy , dry etc but never by nationality or ethnicity ?

Have you never been close to African people and African hair, when kinky and curly? Yes, they often have different hair care needs. Chemicals that are OK for non-Africans will damage that kind of hair.

For your education the next time you see an African with typical African hair, ask him to get a good feel of the texture. Then you might begin to get it how different hair can be. Be sure not to just go for the head feel without first receiving permission!

I have heard though I don't know if its true that if you can't get shampoo products suitable for African hair, an alternative is to "wash" the hair with MILD conditioner and no shampoo at all. Perhaps worth a try anyway.
