Phuket Gazette yesyerday 13/5 had a mention of a Thomas David Cornwell, aged 32, from Gold Coast, Australia.

He was done in Queensland for a number of violent crimes.

He described himself as being known as "The Good Samaritan of Patong " and said that he had personally saved 20 people during the tsunami.

I haven't heard of him and no-one I've spoken to knows him.

Anyone know who he is and what he was doing here ?
