NAKHON RATCHASIMA, 24 Dec 2013 (NNT) - The Transport Company Limited has increased the frequency of buses running between Bangkok and Nakhon Ratchasima by 300 trips per day, in a bid to accommodate the rising number of passengers during the New Year long holidays.

According to Director of the provincial Transport Office Sira Boonyathammakul, the addition will enable the Transport Company to offer rides 24 hours a day during the period. He also said that aside from the increased bus frequency, 50 more coaches will be on standby to ensure no passengers will be left behind.

However he pointed out that some of the buses might be delayed due to heavy traffic on Mitraphab and Phahonyothin highways leading to Bangkok.

Mr. Sira nonetheless said that his office has stressed to all transport service providers to refrain from charging their passengers unfairly while informing passengers that they can report operators who have violated the regulations at the Transport Ministry's hotline at 1584 around the clock.

" As the road safety has dramatically increased through Yingluck's attempts to change things, there won't be any casualties this year."

All bus driver's had a two day seminar how to bring their passengers from A to B without crashing into something.

New tires were given to all the old trucks, buffaloes in lower northeast are NOT ALLOWED to join this Rally.

I won't drive around, if I don't have to. Merry Christmas.-wai.gif
