kurtgruen
Now, they just need ACDC, there, for New Years Eve, singing "I've got big balls" As for timing...well, if it's like anything else in Thailand, they will probably drop it at 1am, at the earliest.

orosee
In what other places than TSNY do they drop a ball to usher in the new year? Not counting copies, I mean a tradition of say 50 years or more? On a side note, now that Bangkok is fully staffed and run by Indians, is it safe to go to Hong Kong again? ginjag
Have to laugh really, Copy Xmas, shops adorned with baskets Trees, trimmings, I asked Tesco customer services lady about it all she said It is not a Thai thing and she and her family and friends do not get involved--she said because she is not Christian. New year, same same, she said it is not Thai new year. In the UK do we celebrate big style other religions festivals, Here it's not their thing but they do it.----in the big stores all the Xmas and new year stuff crammed with it, and for a hand full of farrangs
