Thai air, moving to terminal 2, Heathrow, from June 2014

I will be flying out with them in July 2014, from term 2. I think the whole star alliance has moved there.

has anyone been to term 2 before? are there any hotels connected to the terminal please?

Yes it is along with quite a few others terminal 2 has been closed for renovation and will re open in June. All terminals are fairly close to each other just google hotels at heathrow and they will have transfers to terminal. We have always parked in long stay car park and the same bus takes you to all terminals runs around every 5 mins and takes around 10 mins.

No hotels connected to the terminal, and for transport most of the airport hotels use the "Hotel Hoppa" bus service - whichever hotel you choose you can be sure it will be the last one they drop at!
