I apologise for being a part of this farce , there are members to whom I am conversing with a magnitude of posts with respect I have before never seen , otherwise to admin and moderators , I did so think that this was a photography forum with insight to knowledge and that this facet had a vision to the betterment of all those involved being those that posted , or those that had the recourse to make or help those in need to direct a better / more suitable and viewable image to be admired by all those partaking ,

Seems I was wrong !

Back on topic . . .

Presets swap shop would be a good one, seeing as so many are using Lightroom and a few others using Photoshop.

I still don't understand Photoshop at all. I really struggle with it. Usually I find software easy to learn and simply intuitive and pick it up within a few hours . . . not so with CS6.

A post-processing classroom would be really good.

Perhaps, along with the Photography Equipment and tools sub-forum we could have a "Technique" sub-forum (or similar wording() where people can share tips on post-processing, photo taking tips etc. and people could ask questions on such subjects. This would leave the main body of the forum for the sharing of photos as is currently mainly the case.

Actually if you look at my definition of the Equipment forum I have this - "Discussions & recommendations on photo equipment - cameras, lenses, tripods, filters, etc. and software tools". And my pinned topic outlines the focus of the sub-forum, which includes post processing and software tools such as PS & LR so I think we are covered already. The main reason I requested that new forum is to insulate the true photo part from the mechanics more. smile.png
