gabruce
Yingluck has shown more reasonableness, grace and maturity then Thailands last 10 Prime Ministers combined. Would you like to be more specific about that? She's also the only one who was also Defense Minister, female, and controlled remotely from overseas by a convicted criminal fugitive brother. She's a buffoon who avoids parliament, committees and any kind of work that would be associated with her responsibilities. Many Thais see her as an embarrassment especially when coupled with the performance of her handpicked and regularly shuffled government. Did you see her wonderful performance on the Al Jazeera interview? Yes but, ... she's a woman.

The most terrible is that you believe in this What so you think Mark is far more reasonable, with grace, and maturity? under his government 90 people are dead, and far more injured, Yingluk while being heckled by a whistle blowing protestor, thanked her and told she is entitle to her opinion and to express them, and said this is democracy, and what did mark say to his heckler that said respect my vote? do you remember?
rickirs
The caretaker premier insisted that she has the obligation to stay in power until a new government takes office, or she would be charged with negligence of duty. Meanwhile back in the real world. The Election Commission says that she should postpone the elections by issuing a royal decree. The EC hasn't said a single thing that has ever made any sense and always comes back with the caveot, "Of course the EC has no authority and only can advise." scorecard
What amazes me is the absolute hypocrisy of some on here. For years Abhisit, Suthep and the RTA were the scum of the earth, a bunch of muderers, in cahoots with each other. Now the army is the answer to everything!!!! Hahahahahaha!!!!!!! Sent from my Nexus 4 using Thaivisa Connect Thailand mobile app your only response is to giggle? how would you solve this, other than the usual, maniacal ramblings about expulsion of everything to do with Thaksinism ? Well I giggle at your response.

Perhaps some would say she should be charged with negligence of duty in respect to the last 2.5 years.
Skywalker69
Yingluck has shown more reasonableness, grace and maturity then Thailands last 10 Prime Ministers combined. but I thought she was a "clone" of a previous one? Thaksin said a few weeks back "I am her caddie" so now she must be a golfer.

They both acted within Thai constitution and Thai laws. Taking up arms against your own army and state will get you killed not only in Thailand but in any other country. Anyway the full responsibility for all the carnage and deaths in 2010 lies mostly with UDD/Red shirt mobsters and terrorists. Educate yourself a bit on the topic. Descent into Chaos http://www.hrw.org/sites/default/files/reports/thailand0511webwcover_0.pdf As for Abhisit not saying anything to the 'red shirt heckler' ( there are photos of him being hugged by his master from Dubai), Abhisit simply answered 'thank you'. And added when the man was escorted: "...This shows that people can express opinion at one of our activities," Mr Abhisit said. "But there is always some disturbance at our forums. This is the reason why we cannot say that the election will be..." By the way, try pulling the same prank in the room full of UDD/PTP supporters and see what happens.
