I notice my Automateit app no longer turns my phone to Airplane Mode at night when I sleep since Samsung upgraded the o/s to 4.3,

Is there any alternatives that people recommend?

I've resorted to turning the phone off at night manually to avoid unwanted calls and save battery since the o/s upgrade. I don't want to root it - which is what task schedulers for airplane mode now need for 4.3+.

Guess that's progress? I hope Android doesn't get too ios!
