Thailand and inflation
I disagree there certainly has been inflation here equal to western countries. But, you don't notice it as much. Things that use to be 40b are now 50. Use to be 50 now 60 or 70b. That is nothing for most of us but in reality it is 10 to 20% higher. Things such as chicken, pork, veggies and fruits seem to be higher in places like Macro for sure. -

Canada Surrenders
Wexit is not particularly popular even in Alberta and Saskatchewan, despite the attempt of Trump wannabes to promote it. The party which pushed it the "Maverick Party" and western autonomy, couldn't attract any respectable candidates last federal election and was deregistered after failing to provide financial returns. The provincial prime minister Danielle Smith has tried to use this sentiment to generate support and has been catching stick at her town hall meetings. She has misread the room as they say. The people of Edmonton sent her packing at her last meeting.Few people have patience for her when she starts her Trump aping. -

Gavin Newsom
As ever @Yagoda, may I point out that this is a discussion forum, not a court of law. If it were you seem to have appointed yourself as judge, and defence council in this matter! I suggest that Trump is deeply involved in the whole Epstein matter. That is my opinion, based on a large amount of circumstantial evidence: his boasting about his "tastes" on various media, similar boasting of frequenting changing rooms at teenage girls "beauty pageants", photographs of him in the company of Epstein including ones of him (and Epstein) with young girls, and several depositions which have been made ( prior to his entry into politics) about his involvement and partaking, which have been buried by threats and large cash payments, but which nevertheless exist. All circumstantial I agree, but still public. Add to that the extraordinary and quite chaotic lengths his administration is going to in order to prevent the release of what is perhaps more concrete and damming evidence in the files they have admitted and then denied exist, and then bizarrely if they don't exist, Iannounced that they are deploying huge resources to reacting Trump's name from! So, based upon that I have formed the opinion that the fragrant 47th President of The United States is in this scandal up to his spray tanned neck. I fully accept that my views on this are heavily influenced by my general opinion that he is an amoral, deceitful bullying narcissist; but they are my views. You don't have to like or accept them; continue to believe in his innocence, that is entirely your right. I have committed to one opinion, you are irrevocably following another. Now I don't expect that these allegations will ever be properly investigated, let alone come to trial. This would be a scandal on a scale greater than the one that ended Nixon's presidency, infinitely greater than the ones which swirled around Clinton. It would do such damage that it would rock the foundations of the US state, and drag in, quite possibly, many more than Trump himself, from across the political spectrum. Unless a very radical Democrat administration comes to power then those files, which would serve to confirm or deny these (my) allegations will remain hidden. An interesting side note, I tried to quote @TedG alongside you preparing this post, but for some reason both his posts aimed at me cannot be quoted. -

Yeah, this makes sense to me as an explanation. Not committing myself to agree or not with the Thai governments policies though
