Asoke is EMPTY all day! What a waste of the city roads. They have crowds for 2 hrs ea night. At least open up sukhumvit rd in 2 directions.

I dont consider police w tear gas and water cannons a bad option when the protesters to extend beyond their authorized protest sites. Its called THE LAW

AFAIK, there are no "authorized" protest sites around BKK for the protesters to have extended beyond.

The government has already declared its State of Emergency and supposedly banned gatherings of more than a handful of people in all the various locations the protesters currently inhabit. Not to mention, declaring all kinds of roads and public facilities as off-limits for protest.

The government has already declared everything the protesters are currently doing as illegal. They just haven't done anything to actually disperse/stop the protests, as yet.

How about getting them out of Asoke too.

No one here during the day and only a small crowd at night. Last night the loadspeakers stayed on until almost 1 am.

How about the right to a peaceful night's rest for those of us that live in the protest areas?

Thailand IS a failed state.

No rule of law and a government that not only has no control, but is out of control. All we ever get from them is hot air. All talk and no action.

How about realizing this is NOT our Country. We have no rights here, so like it or leave it.

no likee but no leaveee
