Attaching a telescope to a DSLR camera?

Featured Replies

Hi all, I have a semipro telescope and been meaning to attach it to my Canon body to take some shots.

Anyone can suggest a place to make some sort of camera adapter for the scope eye piece? How much I'm looking at to spend on the adapter?

I know some of you here have adapters made for the older lenses and using them on your newer cameras, where have you had them adapters made at?

Thanks

Do you need an adapter? They just showed that on BBC click and sure they just pointed a normal lense at the telescope.

Give it a try before spending.

^^ That's a good video, but it unfortunately doesn't say where to get these adapters, I looked on eBay and found some similar adapters like in the video, may give it a try.

It can't be done handheld, a slightest of movement will throw the focus off.

If you're in Thailand Ebay is probably your best bet.
