Okay after eight and a half years I am posting for the 1,000 time. I want to say how much I enjoy reading the Isaan Form, Farming Form, Teaching Form, Immigration & Visa Form, and Health Form. There are very few negative posts and a lot of good information. The General Form is another matter. I live in Isaan and most of the farangs I meet are nice helpful positive people. Before coming to Isaan I spent the majority of my time on Samui and have some land there and was going to build a house. However my wife wanted to live in Isaan so here I am. I am very happy to be here, I am not at all bored and drink very little. I think on Samui I may have become a drunk. Also the people here, both Thai and Farang are more genuine than the people on Samui were. Thank you to all the informative and positive posters.

I too like this forum. It's generally interesting, informative, often amusing with very little of the flaming, trolling and general bitchiness that is the norm in the News and General forums. Thanks for your 1000 posts George, I've still got a way to go yet.
