I guess the best solution would be to have a steady feed from BBC F1 stream to a pub's large TV.

The quality of the instant interviews etc on BBC is way better than Star sports.

Ah. I thought that BBC would stream all the races online, but that must mean only the radio 5 on this list

http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/formula1/race-calendar/ Thanks.

I prefer to go to a pub to watch the F1. It's more fun when there is people from different nationalities, supporting different drivers and teams. I'm also pretty sure that Kimi, leave me alone, Räikkönen does not listen to me, no matter how great advices I give him during the race. At least the other watchers at the pub can hear the comments :)

yes, only radio 5 streams all the races live. Only about half the TV races is live, the rest are shown after the race, and edited.

If you have a UK VPN and declare you have a UK TV licence them you can watch anything on BBC, both live and downloaded. I prefer to download F1 to save the annoyance of a jerky screen if poor internet speed.

Thanks guys - will try to set up a VPN

We just had a baby, so cant slope off to the pub as much - plus happy to watch at home with the little fellow

This year should be great, new rules, new drivers & challenges

Yes, the BBC F1 broadcast is way better than Star Sports. Plus they have the RedBox after race interviews. BUT - Beeb only have the right to broadcast live only half the races smile.png

Star Sports has improved a lot last year since Steve Slater is not commenting anymore.

I watch the BBC through thaiexpat.tv. With that and its sister company sport365 I don't watch cable/satellite any more and only keep it for the GF to watch her Thai soaps and news.

does spot 365 have the F1?

Also what about the world cup?

I agree that the new commentator on Star sports, who came along some time ago, knows what he is talking about. It was refreshing to hear.

However BBC have great live interviews by Damon Hill and the others, which can not be matched with "Vote for the special race moment" on Star Sports.

Seems that teams using Renault engines have some troubles at the time, which might be good for the season in general. Newey will came up with new solutions at some point, but maybe other teams will have a chance to win this year.

Another good is that if Red Bull does not win this season, Newey might wish to continue on F1 as he might want to leave the circus as winner.

He will take over from Bernie

Engineer with enough money for the lifetime taking an admin job. I doubt it.

Sport365 does have the F1 (Star Sports coverage). I'll watch the World Cup on UK TV via thaiexpat.tv. No idea if it'll be on Sport365 yet but as it basically gets its feeds from Astro I should think it will. Of course Thai TV may pay for English commentary this time- but I doubt it!

Design only it said in the article, he is wanted for his knowledge on flow dynamics....

NOw that he actually has to think & work, due to new regulations, he may well be along for the long haul....

Yes could be true if going with Sir Ben Ainslie, but what about staying with Red Bull [hints and news keep popping up] and building the new 2015/16 Red Bull Racing Yacht ?

Of course this News keeps popping up from way back in 2005, until last week in the news..... Just think is more likely he would go to yachting than being a F1 Team owner or some Admin job, if he moves at all

I am pretty excited about this season - should actually be interesting, i just hope we dont see it won or lost by engine/mechanical failures or running out of fuel.

Its called racing for a reason......
