As the sports freak I am, I am looking for a pub or a place in Phuket where I can watch the olympics. Of course I can watch it at home, but I like to have the opportunity to chill in a bar/pub with a beer when while watching sporting events. If someone knows about any place in Phuket Town, Kathu or Patong it would be great. Answers regarding other locations on the island is of course also welcome.

The games are also coming on at a perfect time, unlike so many other high profile sporting events.

I haven't paid attention if there is some locations to watch the ice hockey. Would be fun to watch the finals, provided that my team is participating.

Fortunately it's just a game. I remember the times when the Russian Red Machine was almost unbeatable. Tretiak was a wall in front of the goal.

Ice hockey is one of the few sports I like to watch so it would be a nice to watch the games together. Preferably if Leijonat is playing. I might become a loud spectator during the game, but it will be over in 42 seconds after the game

Some times back I saw some wintersport games at the bars in Kamala (they have still plenty of scandinavians). Maybe someone local there could advise where to go?

Quite a few places were showing the game in Kamala. However in the first place I stopped, they were streaming BBC feed to the TV. The image quality was horrible and the streaming did not really work.

The Beer garden, next to the main road in Kamala had Astro satellite feed with perfect image quality as you can see below.
