A few things.

1. When I am using my mac how do I view apps for ios? When I log on to itunes, it only shows me os apps. Likewise when I click purchased, it only shows os apps.

2. Why when I plug my ipad into the mac does it not show all my purchased apps from ios? I can view them from the ipad, but not in itunes when I want to sync.

3. Most important. I have an app that has been dropped from itunes. Is there any way I can keep the app if I change to a new device? The app is on the ipad, but it is not listed in purchased or the store. Is there some way to transfer it on to the mac?

You're opening iTunes and the going to apps? Or you're running the Mac App Store application? iTunes only shows my iOS apps, only ever has.
