I have no colour issues with AcdSee pro 8 but it is S-L-O-W :o I don't use the editing facilites, prefer to use Photoshop.

I used to use V4, fast and easy but I 'upgraded' to 8 because it can read Canon RAW files, ERROR.

Such is life, it works well enough but I'll have no qualms changing to another viewer so long as it can handle Canon RAW.

Suggestions anyone??

As mentioned before the Fastone viewer is fast and will view RAW digital camera files. When I tried to view mine (RAW files) on ACDSee it would crash everytime, but with Fastone no problems at all. Several reasons I switched some time ago is the speed, features, and RAW image capabilites of Fastone. As far as I'm concerned it leaves ACDSee in the dust. I no longer use either Iranview or ACDSee. And it's free also.

ACDSee....the slowest image viewing software with the greatest hunger for computer memory. Ditch it and then use a registry cleaner to clean out the dross left behind. Switch to FastStone.

Downloaded Fastone :o

Looks pretty good, it'll take a couple of days to get used to the interface but it's 10000000 times faster than ACDsee :D
