Ready or not, here comes the Civil War.

The same is happening in the Ukraine, The US and France gave a message to the Ukraine stating that the "two sides" should refrain from violence and hold elections as early as possible.

The Ukraine President In order to save his live has left the capital city Kiev and moved to the eastern part of the Ukraine which is the region of his supporters.

The street violence in the Ukraine is about to end, and elections will take place soon, and the out coming result will be accepted.

==================

We don't know whether Thailand has received similar messages from major top countries, but in any event after several months of violent street protests in BKK the time has come to end matters, elections should be started soon again and the outcome has to be accepted by the political parties.

In the meantime the street protesters should return home in order to end matters, and the farmers should get their payments in due course, then all current problems are solved.

It might be worth noting that the protesters in Kiev did not disperse until After the President resigned.

Correction, the Ukrainian president didn’t resign; he 'fled' instead as they all mostly do in the end.

The people are ready to rise up and fight this anti democratic fascist movement.

If there is further violence, Suthep and his thugs have no one to blame but themselves for trying to overthrow a democratically elected government.

Sorry, you are backing the wrong horse. Anybody with an ounce of understanding can see that this post is utterly off-beam. Look at Thaksin's historu! Look at his connections? Look at the type of speeches his supporters make. (Jaturporn for example). Review the U-Tube videos of the red short leaders' speeches during 2010. And you are serious about calling Suthep a fascist? My God! I'd hate to meet you in a dark alley. Where on earth is your humanity?

Of course there's bias, some here would actually like to see peaceful protests. I see that you are not one of them. What a charming fellow you must be

what a sham your posts are

most want to see the democratically elected government left alone by the fascists

I observe you are NOT a democrat but support a fascist council you bounder!

Now you are making no sense at all

"most want to see the democratically elected government left alone by the fascists "

Are you insinuating that the government is playing with it's self.cheesy.gif

You might be right.coffee1.gif

I await the announcement from either Yingluck or the CMPO condemning these statements for inciting and promoting violence and asking them to follow the rule of law and allow the Police to deal with the protests.

It should come soon.

The not for publication secret thank you well done good job message was sent last night.wai.gif

What makes me always wonder is, how so many people can be fooled into following those, that actually exploit them.

Of the whole shebang, that sofar has been paid out for the rice pledging, only 30% has reached the people, who were supposed to get 100% of it. The 70% were skimmed off by rice millers, middlemen and other gangsters. No wonder these people, who made a fortune of the pledging scheme, are all in favour of the government, which feeds them so nicely. But these are 5 to 10% of the red shirts, the local leaders, the other 90-95% are cheated upon and still they don't want to believe it, if told, that they are cheated.

And now these 90% or more are told to go to Bangkok to slug it out for their bigwigs, who themself will stay back. I mean, how brain-dead msut one be to listen and follow such scum like Chalerm, Jatuporn or Nuttawuth etc??? No wonder even after 6 years of Taksin rule, education didn't make a nano-movement towards progress.

But how do you ( or anyone for that matter ) know for certain which is the right or wrong horse? cool.png Doesn't it seem a bit too coincidental that Ukraine, Thailand and now a Venezuela all erupt politically around about the same time ?

Whereas Ukraine is eastern Europe’s breadbasket, Thailand is Asia’s “rice bowl.” Yingluck has made several statements that any agreement on a Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) free trade zone must take into account the needs of Thailand’s farmers, who serve as the bedrock of popular support for Yingluck’s “Red Shirt” movement. After Yingluck came to the defense of Thailand’s farmers, who would oppose any attempt by Monsanto to introduce genetically-modified rice to the country (which previously occurred with Haiti, which saw its rice industry decimated), pro-royalist “Yellow Shirt” protesters took to the streets of Bangkok

Yes he fled. I think he is heading for Dubai as they don't care who comes there to call it home as long as they have a big bank account.

I believe the Ukrainian Government is re forming it's self.

It is a shame they do not have some one like Suthep to suggest reform in the government it's self before putting in a new group of people under the same shaky laws that have caused them so much trouble.

The government should step down immediately.

We have seen how there supporters support them in Trat last night. If it is to be a civil war it will be the actions of the government supporters.

No, Mr Suthep should step down the government was voted into power by the people!!!!

Or don't you think another election would rid the country of them. then why should they step down?

In the western World former leaders are not hiding outside countries to avoid jail terms, while running the countries over Skype.

In the western World governments do not send their hit squads out to kill civilians.

Aparts - this government is NOT elected. As there is no government. It is ACTING government. And last elections are invalid.

What is it you Red farang don't understand?

It does not matter in the western world if a former leader is living on the f..ing moon.

Things are done by elections not some Idiot taking over the Capital.

This okay, "caretaker government" was elected by the Thai people!!! Or is this not the case?

You sir, are beyond help

Ready or not, here comes the Civil War.

people laugh when we talk of civil war .They think it's not in the Thai psyche to fight each other. But wars are never an instant event. The ratcheting up of tensions and the polarizing of beliefs means the country is slowly moving towards internal war And if the army was worth anything ,it would be making plans to take control.Clearing the streets and curfews,as well as rounding up those spouting vitriol on both sides.Time is of the essence.

I posted this three days ago in the Shinawatra business boycott thread http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/705790-shinawatra-business-boycott-forces-its-stock-prices-to-plunge/page-2.

This is one time where I am not happy to be proved correct.

I don't like predicting violence, but if share values fall by more than 15-20%, count on a sudden increase in grenade attacks and shootings by 'unknown people'.

Perhaps the remaining loyal red-shirts will be openly mobilised to defend the master's wealth.

I agree with you as far as, if for some reason Suthep manages to overthrow the government, there will be civil war.

I don't see the Bangkok elite having the stomach for it, but I could be wrong and they may be more inclined to finance it.

But should this happen then god help us, or time to take a holiday.

So more RPGs, M76s, drive by shootings with AK47s and M16s to be aimed at the protestors. Probably car and motor bike bombs too.

Shouldn't Jatuporn have his bail revoked for inciting unrest again?

Even if his bail was revoked, who would enforce it?

The president didn't resign. He was fired by Rada decision on Saturday because he couldn't control the situation in Ukraine anymore. The released well known iron lady Timoshenko told the crowd not to disperse and be vigilant until further notice.

The Ukraine president Yanokovych left Kiev in order to save his life and fled to the eastern part of Ukraine which is the major region of his party supporters.

He did not resign his presidency, but was dismissed by parliament and their parliamentary speaker was appointed as interim president, and election matters are now in progress.

MP's ... are elected members of parliament and are entitled to make such major political decision in majority.

Just to add, their new appointed parliamentary speaker (the old one resigned a few days ago) was appointed as interim president.

If Suthep and other protesters can do it, I do not see why UDD and others cannot. They are citizens of Thailand and have every rights to do so. Negotiation is the most peaceful solution, but the black face wants to win them all only.

I agree. There are probably not even as many willing to take up arms and fight as there were the total number of UDDer fools in that meeting today.

Sir,

I have no intention to respond any further to someone who thinks it is OK to kill children for political reasons, as that is the only way I can understand "stop with the sympathy vote crap" in response to kids that were killed in Trat and Bangkok today.

Imagine for a moment that your loved ones were gunned down or blown up just because they disagree with the government policies.

You really need professional help.

You are still looking for the sympathy vote, and it's not working.

"it is OK to kill children for political reasons, as that is the only way I can understand "stop with the sympathy vote crap"

as I said: "You should already know the answers to that!!!!"

But keep trying John
