An underwater aquarium will be built in Chon Buri

An underwater world will be built late this year at Burapa University in Chon Buri.

Pinyo Tanwiset (ภิญโญ ตั๊นวิเศษ), chairman of the Chon Buri Administration Organization, said the aquarium was earlier planned at Laem Thaen (แหลมแท่น) also in Chon Buri but faced some land problems.

Mr. Pinyo said the aquarium, which was moved to Burapa University and was downsized, costs about 400 million baht.

When completed, this underwater world would become another tourist attraction aside from being a source of knowledge about marine ecology, he said.

Underwater aquarium !!! Is there any other kind??? :o

I propose an underground zoo featuring arborical mammals only with trees planted upside down.

.........this simple project should not pose any problems :o

Will this be in tandem with the "underwater" aquarium they already have at Burapha?

Is this the place at Bang Saen?

They already have an excellent aquarium, at a sensible price.
