Who thinks up these ridiculous surveys. Asking Somchai on the street this type of question is stupid beyond. They may as well have asked a bunch of men whether they find breasts or feet the more attractive part of a lady's anatomy.

On the rice pledging scheme, 51% of respondents said corruption, non-transparent processes and lack of effective monitoring systems was key factors that derailed the scheme, it said.

It went on saying 29.4% pointed to mismanagement of the scheme, the inability to release rice in stockpiles, a lack of expertise among staff working on the scheme and poor understanding of domestic and overseas rice markets.

Looks like one in five would say feet.

The saddest thing is that the majoity of people believe it was crimminal behaviour that scuppered it, rather than just being stupid and arrogant.

What do you think caused the collapse?

A. Illegal corruption

B. Ignorance

C. Arrogance#

D. Stupidity

E. Confluence in the stars between Moon and Venus

F. Bad luck (Chok mai dee)

Obviously, Thaksin isn't B,C, or D, so it must be A, E and F. I bet in my survey E and F would beat B,C and D combined . What a country. The natural answer is that they nicked a boat load of money. Naturally....

"What the hell is "the inability to release stockpiles?"

Is that code for IT IS TOO DAMN EXPENSIVE........

The picture accompanying this article is revealing in and of itself. It reminds one of the last panning shot of Citizen Kane, when all the elements of his past are laid bare. This picture says more about the Yingluck administration than any other.

Yeah, and news just came out, that around 60 to 80 billion Baht were syphoned off via Hong Kong, If they hadn't been so greedy, they would propably ahve won teh February election much smoother.

Now the Red Shirts and gov't have to explain, that their voters can not receive the money that is due for them, because around half of it is already gone to HK or SG or DBX. "We steal not only the food from your plate, we even steal your plates too, but please do not worry and vote for us..."

Links please....And please dont explain that this is something from Suthep on stage.

Come on Red supporters. Tell us Yingluck has nothing to do with it because you keep on criticizing the NACC.

Bait taken hook line and sinker. Instead of a multiple choice questionnaire, let's see THE facts laid out in the courts and government instead of us free loading attorneys pointing the fingers. My father taught me a valuable lesson in life, when you point the finger at some one else for their mistakes and misgivings, there will always be 3 fingers pointing back at oneself.... Its food for thought we could all take in. Humans are corrupt, greedy, and dishonest by nature. If you say that you are not then you are a perfect man or women indeed, and I wish it weren't so for all of us, alas it is.
